CHANGE will mark World Environment Day, on June 5th, with a roundtable titled "More than Carbon: Giving Credit to Biodiversity," starting at 3:30 PM at NOVA FCT, Library Auditorium.
How will carbon credits be allocated and what are the priorities? What is the connection to Biodiversity Credits? What do Plus carbon credits mean and how can they be measured? Ana Paula Rodrigues from ADENE – Energy Agency, Francisco Ferreira from ZERO and CENSE – Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research, João Torres from CoLAB ForestWISE, and José Rafael Marques da Silva, from AgroInsider and MED – Mediterranean Institute for Agriculture, Environment and Development, will be the guests of the roundtable. The event aims to foster a discussion on emerging issues related to the legislation process of the voluntary carbon market in Portugal and its relationship with biodiversity.
